Global Caché GC-IRL IR LearnerEasily plug in the Global Caché GC-IRL IR Learner to a standard RS232 serial port of any computer and use it to learn IR codes to control infrared-driven AV equipment. The GC-IRL transmits infrared signals as Comma-delimited ASCII text string with a terminator. The ASCII structure simplifies IR recording and playback.Right out of the box, the GC-IRL is set to set to 9600 baud, 8 bits, one stop, no parity, and no flow control. It utilizes a female DB9 connector to link directly to Global Caché GC-100 network adapters or RS232 serial ports.The GC-IRL comes with an IR Learner Utility CD that captures and converts the learned codes into other GC-IRL formats. You can use the IR Learner with the complete iTach line.
