This item is exact reproduction of the 9 1/2" GM backing plate with no splash shield common to BOP. This backing plate was used on countless cars in the 's and 70's. was used on both the 10 and 12 bolt rear ends and was considered the 9 1/2" GM backing plate. The plate was used on all the mid size A, F & X-Body cars. The full size cars usually had the bigger 11" brakes so this plate is not for the 11" big brake cars. This stamping is exact to the factory original featuring the correct thickness metal, defined stamping and black plating dye, just like the factory original. This is a Inline Tube exclusive concourse quality exact reproduction.
