The electrical receptacle is separated from the low voltage cabling, therefore preventing damage to those connections and eliminating interference while keeping everything contained in one box. The box itself has multiple openings, so the cables can be routed from various entry points. It's generously-sized to accommodate the low voltage cabling that connects to a Wall-Mounted TV and the incorporated wire guides help to route and store the excess cable length. The flexible design enables it to be utilized for both old and new work and includes most of the mounting hardware. Note: The 2 x long wood screws required for a new work installation are not included since the screws size depends on the thickness of your wall finish. The box can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, which adds another level of versatility. It weighs 1.828 lbs and measures 10.656" H x 12.531" W x 3.14" D. The textured trim plate conceals the edges of the opening in the wall and is paintable to match your decor for a more finished look.
