Auto Split PDF

Indigo PDF offers an “Auto Split PDF” feature that simplifies the process of separating scanned documents with the use of divider sheets. Here’s how you can use this feature:

  1. Print Divider Sheets:
    • First, print divider sheets. These sheets serve as separators between your different documents. They can be printed in black and white.
  2. Scan Your Documents:
    • Insert these printed divider sheets between your documents or sections to indicate where one document ends and another begins.
    • Scan all your documents, including the divider sheets, in a single batch. Ensure that your scanner is set to “Duplex Mode,” which means it scans both the front and back of pages.
  3. Upload the Scanned PDF:
    • Once you’ve scanned all your documents, you should have a single large scanned PDF file that includes the divider sheets.
    • Upload this scanned PDF file to Indigo PDF.
  4. Auto-Separation:
    • Indigo PDF’s Auto Split PDF feature will automatically detect and remove the divider pages you inserted during scanning. It identifies where each document begins and ends based on the divider sheets.
  5. Neat Final Document:
    • After the Auto-Separation process, Indigo PDF will generate separate PDF documents for each of your scanned documents, removing the divider sheets in the process.
  6. Save or Download:
    • You can then save or download the neatly separated and organized individual documents as separate PDF files.

This feature is particularly useful when you have a batch of documents to scan and want an efficient way to split and organize them into individual PDF files without the need for manual sorting and splitting. Indigo PDF’s Auto Split PDF simplifies the process and ensures a tidy final result.
